233 The intent of this course is to inform the student of the major religions that are currently present in our transforming world. 86% of the world’s population follows some sort of organized religion and It is my belief that the understanding of religion is necessary to understand the thinking process and perspective of the world’s people. When you understand someone, it is easier to solve conflicts with them. Studying religion is a step towards a more peaceful world.
