A straight forward look at some techniques throughout the entire recording process that will improve the sound of the vocal performance in your song.
Lessons will be hosted on Reddit /r/vocalproductionclass and there will also be youtube follow up videos
I also plan on having some downloadable recording sessions for homework.

Seeing as this course will cover a specialised area of recording some experience in Digital Audio Workstations would be good. But not entirely necessary. Students should have an interest in recording music and a motivation for high fidelity.

- Vocal Recording
- Session Management (boring, I know, but necessary)
- Vocal Compiling
- Vocal Editing/Tuning
- Vocal Gain-Based EFX (EQ, Compression, etc.)
- Vocal Time-Based EFX (Reverbs, Delays)

This course has room to grow, I am open to any feedback as to specific areas I should bring more focus to. I work mostly in Pro Tools but, understandably, not everyone has that available. So if you want me to do tutorials in other DAWs like Logic, Cubase, Reaper and in both Mac and Windows, just ask.
I also mix songs for reasonable rates so if you're interested just PM me.
